Water Lily Bridge
The Water Lily Bridge project is merely an adaptation of a natural solution to a structural problem, namely how it would be possible to support a pedestrian pathway structure (necessary to interconnect the different walkways), over water, without the use of pillars and their substantial impact on the natural environment? The solution sought had already been found in nature (in here skillful use of resources) in the water lilies structures, long before the discovery by Archimedes of his famous principle. The water lily, unlike trees for example, need not to create branches structurally rigid in order to withstand here leaves, allowing this task to the upward force produced by water and usually known as buoyancy. Its branches are not more than underwater cables that prevent the plant from being dragged by the currents.
As the idea matured other options arose. Since part of the structure was immersed this should permit the contemplation of the strange foreign environment, which inevitably led me to the option for Plexiglas (acrylic glass) for the lateral walls (witch is invisible in contact with water). The desired structure, to maximize this Biblical effect, would be in a delicate hydraulic balance, where the upward force made by the water should correspond to the weight of the hull and two ramps, since they are also supported at their margins. The side safety flaps were a solution to this problem, which allows a structural overweight since they increase the hull volume immersed when opened. Should also point out that the junctions of the safety flaps are made in transparent rubber profiles, thus allowing deformations.
The access ramps and bridge hull rise with the 6 ft tide, and both have mobile connections.
The fact that this creek be navigated only by canoes and kayaks led to the creation of a water bridge passage over the lower walkway.
In conclusion, this type of solution (Water Lily type Bridge) allows all sorts of possible forms for pedestrian walkways, provided they are properly anchored.
Energy production
In our initial researches, on the engineering available for the production of energy, we came across a type of solution provided by an American company, from Westmont (*), that depended exclusive on the natural water flow. This type of turbine, attached to a floating platform, didn't require the containing of large water portions, like in a dam, but it was able, from the natural river form and its normal water flow, to collect a substantial energy production without a significant environmental impact, in our view. In fact, and according to the available information, the environmental impact studies are still on going. The turbines present in the technical drawings, attached underneath the platform, are simply a sketch, and they do not represent any real available equipment, so it becomes difficult to predict any energy production estimation in the absence of a constant water flow due to the changing ties.

Orimattilan Judoseura ry:n säännöt
1 § YHDISTYKSEN NIMI JA KOTIPAIKKA
Yhdistyksen nimi on ORIMATTILAN JUDOSEURA R. Y ja sen kotipaikka on Orimattilan kaupunki.
Yhdistys kuuluu Suomen Judoliittoon, joka on Euroopan judoliiton EJU:n eli European Judo Unionin jäsen, sekä tämän kautta edelleen Kansainvälisen Judoliiton IJF:n eli International Judo Federationin jäsen.
Yhdistys on Suomenkielinen. Yhdistyksestä käytetään näissä säännöissä nimeä seura.
2 § SEURAN TARKOITUS JA TOIMINNAN LAATU
Seuran tarkoitus on ylläpitää ja edistää judoharrastusta ja kehittää jäsentensä judotaitoja, sekä edistää judon tunnettavuutta.
Lisäksi tarkoitus on edistää liikuntakasvatusta ja ylläpitää ja edistää judoon ja muuhun liikuntaan liittyvää valistus- ja järjestötoimintaa seuran jäsenistön, sekä muun väestön keskuudessa ylläpitää ja edistää muuta siihen liittyvää kansalaistoimintaa siten, että erilaisista lähtökohdista olevilla henkilöillä on mahdollisuus harrastaa kunto- tai terveysliikuntaa, kilpa- ja huippu-urheilua tai liikuntaan liittyvää yhdistystoimintaa edellytystensä ja tarpeidensa mukaisesti.
Seura toimii yhteistyössä urheilun keskusjärjestöjen ja lajiliittojen, sekä muiden liikuntakasvatus-, sivistys- ja kansalaisjärjestöjen samoin kuin Orimattilan kaupungin kanssa.
Tarkoituksen toteuttamiseksi seura järjestää judo-opetusta, liikuntaharjoituksia, kilpailuja ja näytöksiä, sekä toimii judon tunnetuksi tekemiseksi harjoittamalla tiedotus ja julkaisutoimintaa, järjestää judoleirejä, lähettää edustajansa judokilpailuihin, järjestää harrastus- ja huvi- sekä valistustapahtumia jäsenilleen.
Toimintansa tukemiseksi seura voi ottaa vastaan avustuksia, lahjoituksia ja testamentteja. Tavoitteena ei ole tuottaa voittoa tai muuta taloudellista etua siihen osallisille. Seura voi omistaa toimintaansa varten tarpeellista irtainta - ja kiinteää omaisuutta, harjoittaa kioskikauppaa yhdessä toimipisteessä, sekä toimeenpanna arpajaisia ja rahankeräyksiä. Tarvittaessa seura hankkii toiminnalleen asianomaisen luvan.
3 § SEURAN JÄSENET
Seuran varsinaiseksi jäseneksi voi päästä jokainen yli 15-vuotias ja juniorijäseneksi jokainen alle 15-vuotias, joka sitoutuu noudattamaan seuran sääntöjä, päätöksiä ja jonka seuran johtokunta jäseneksi hyväksyy.
Perhejäseneksi voidaan johtokunnan päätöksellä hyväksyä alle 15-vuotiaan juniorijäsenen huoltaja.
Kunniajäseneksi voi seuran johtokunta nimittää henkilön, joka on erittäin merkittävästi edistänyt judotoiminnan kehittämistyötä tai seuran toimintaa.
Kannatusjäseneksi voi seuran johtokunta hyväksyä yksityisen henkilön tai oikeuskelpoisen yhteisön, joka tukee seuran toimintaa suorittamalla vuosittaisen kannatusjäsenmaksun.
4 § SEURAN NIMEN KIRJOITTAMINEN
Seuran nimen kirjoittavat puheenjohtaja, varapuheenjohtaja, rahastonhoitaja ja sihteeri kaksi yhdessä.
5 § LIITTYMIS- JA JÄSENMAKSU
Seuran varsinaisten ja juniori jäsenten liittymis- ja vuotuisen jäsenmaksun sekä kannatusjäsenmaksun suuruudesta päättää vuosittain seuran vuosikokous. Perhejäsenillä ja kunniajäsenillä ei ole jäsenmaksu velvoitetta.
6 § SEURASTA EROAMINEN JA EROTTAMINEN
Jäsenen halutessa erota seurasta, on siitä ilmoitettava kirjallisesti johtokunnalle tai sen puheenjohtajalle tai ilmoitettava siitä seuran kokouksessa pöytäkirjaan merkittäväksi. Ero astuu voimaan eroilmoitusta seuraavan kalenterivuoden alusta lukien, ellei johtokunta aikaisemmin eroa myönnä.
Perhejäsenyys katkeaa heti, kun juniorijäsenestä tulee varsinainen jäsen.
Johtokunnalla on oikeus antaa huomautus, kirjallinen varoitus tai erottaa seuran jäsen, joka ei noudata seuran sääntöjä tai seuran tekemiä päätöksiä, taikka käytöksellään tai toiminnallaan seurassa tai sen ulkopuolella estää seuran päämäärien toteuttamista, taikka huomattavasti vahingoittaa seuraa tai sen mainetta. Seuran jäsen voidaan johtokunnan päätöksellä erottaa seurasta, jos hän on laiminlyönyt jäsenmaksunsa suorittamisen yli (2) kahden vuod

1 § YHDISTYKSEN NIMI JA KOTIPAIKKA
Yhdistyksen nimi on ORIMATTILAN JUDOSEURA R. Y ja sen kotipaikka on Orimattilan kaupunki.
Yhdistys kuuluu Suomen Judoliittoon, joka on Euroopan judoliiton EJU:n eli European Judo Unionin jäsen, sekä tämän kautta edelleen Kansainvälisen Judoliiton IJF:n eli International Judo Federationin jäsen.
Yhdistys on Suomenkielinen. Yhdistyksestä käytetään näissä säännöissä nimeä seura.
2 § SEURAN TARKOITUS JA TOIMINNAN LAATU
Seuran tarkoitus on ylläpitää ja edistää judoharrastusta ja kehittää jäsentensä judotaitoja, sekä edistää judon tunnettavuutta.
Lisäksi tarkoitus on edistää liikuntakasvatusta ja ylläpitää ja edistää judoon ja muuhun liikuntaan liittyvää valistus- ja järjestötoimintaa seuran jäsenistön, sekä muun väestön keskuudessa ylläpitää ja edistää muuta siihen liittyvää kansalaistoimintaa siten, että erilaisista lähtökohdista olevilla henkilöillä on mahdollisuus harrastaa kunto- tai terveysliikuntaa, kilpa- ja huippu-urheilua tai liikuntaan liittyvää yhdistystoimintaa edellytystensä ja tarpeidensa mukaisesti.
Seura toimii yhteistyössä urheilun keskusjärjestöjen ja lajiliittojen, sekä muiden liikuntakasvatus-, sivistys- ja kansalaisjärjestöjen samoin kuin Orimattilan kaupungin kanssa.
Tarkoituksen toteuttamiseksi seura järjestää judo-opetusta, liikuntaharjoituksia, kilpailuja ja näytöksiä, sekä toimii judon tunnetuksi tekemiseksi harjoittamalla tiedotus ja julkaisutoimintaa, järjestää judoleirejä, lähettää edustajansa judokilpailuihin, järjestää harrastus- ja huvi- sekä valistustapahtumia jäsenilleen.
Toimintansa tukemiseksi seura voi ottaa vastaan avustuksia, lahjoituksia ja testamentteja. Tavoitteena ei ole tuottaa voittoa tai muuta taloudellista etua siihen osallisille. Seura voi omistaa toimintaansa varten tarpeellista irtainta - ja kiinteää omaisuutta, harjoittaa kioskikauppaa yhdessä toimipisteessä, sekä toimeenpanna arpajaisia ja rahankeräyksiä. Tarvittaessa seura hankkii toiminnalleen asianomaisen luvan.
3 § SEURAN JÄSENET
Seuran varsinaiseksi jäseneksi voi päästä jokainen yli 15-vuotias ja juniorijäseneksi jokainen alle 15-vuotias, joka sitoutuu noudattamaan seuran sääntöjä, päätöksiä ja jonka seuran johtokunta jäseneksi hyväksyy.
Perhejäseneksi voidaan johtokunnan päätöksellä hyväksyä alle 15-vuotiaan juniorijäsenen huoltaja.
Kunniajäseneksi voi seuran johtokunta nimittää henkilön, joka on erittäin merkittävästi edistänyt judotoiminnan kehittämistyötä tai seuran toimintaa.
Kannatusjäseneksi voi seuran johtokunta hyväksyä yksityisen henkilön tai oikeuskelpoisen yhteisön, joka tukee seuran toimintaa suorittamalla vuosittaisen kannatusjäsenmaksun.
4 § SEURAN NIMEN KIRJOITTAMINEN
Seuran nimen kirjoittavat puheenjohtaja, varapuheenjohtaja, rahastonhoitaja ja sihteeri kaksi yhdessä.
5 § LIITTYMIS- JA JÄSENMAKSU
Seuran varsinaisten ja juniori jäsenten liittymis- ja vuotuisen jäsenmaksun sekä kannatusjäsenmaksun suuruudesta päättää vuosittain seuran vuosikokous. Perhejäsenillä ja kunniajäsenillä ei ole jäsenmaksu velvoitetta.
6 § SEURASTA EROAMINEN JA EROTTAMINEN
Jäsenen halutessa erota seurasta, on siitä ilmoitettava kirjallisesti johtokunnalle tai sen puheenjohtajalle tai ilmoitettava siitä seuran kokouksessa pöytäkirjaan merkittäväksi. Ero astuu voimaan eroilmoitusta seuraavan kalenterivuoden alusta lukien, ellei johtokunta aikaisemmin eroa myönnä.
Perhejäsenyys katkeaa heti, kun juniorijäsenestä tulee varsinainen jäsen.
Johtokunnalla on oikeus antaa huomautus, kirjallinen varoitus tai erottaa seuran jäsen, joka ei noudata seuran sääntöjä tai seuran tekemiä päätöksiä, taikka käytöksellään tai toiminnallaan seurassa tai sen ulkopuolella estää seuran päämäärien toteuttamista, taikka huomattavasti vahingoittaa seuraa tai sen mainetta. Seuran jäsen voidaan johtokunnan päätöksellä erottaa seurasta, jos hän on laiminlyönyt jäsenmaksunsa suorittamisen yli (2) kahden vuod

4.1 Target species
Cattle.
4.2 Indications for use, specifying the target species
Premadex Pour-On Solution for Cattle 5 mg/ml is indicated for the treatment of gastro-intestinal nematodes, lungworms, warbles, chorioptic and sarcoptic mange mites, sucking and biting lice of beef and non-lactating dairy cattle.

The product, at the recommended use level of 500 μg/kg of ivermectin, has a persistent activity on:
Dictyocaulus viviparus: for up to 28 days
Ostertagia spp.: for up to 21 days
Oesophagostomum radiatum: for up to 21 days
Cooperia spp.: for up to 14 days
Trichostrongylus axei: for up to 14 days.
The product helps in the control of the mange mite Chorioptes bovis but complete elimination may not occur.
The product has also a persistent activity on the horn fly (Haematobia irritans) for 28 days; partial efficacy may last for up to 35 days post application.
Occasionally, variable activity may be observed against Haemonchus placei (L4), Cooperia spp., Trichostrongylus axei and Trichostrongylus colubriformis.
To obtain optimal benefit of Premadex Pour On Solution for Cattle 5 mg/ml, the product is recommended to be used as part of treatment programs, based on the epidemiology of the parasites in question.
4.3 Contra-indications
Do not use in animals known to be hypersensitive to the active substance or to any of the ingredients.
Do not inject or give orally. This product is for application to skin surface only.
Do not use in dairy cows during lactation or the dry period and in beef cows during the lactation period when milk is intended for human consumption.
Do not use in pregnant dairy heifers within 60 days prior to calving.
4.4 Special warnings for each target species
Assess bodyweight as accurately as possible before calculating the dosage.
Cattle should not be treated when the hair or hide is wet. Rain falling on animals less than two hours after dosing may result in reduced efficacy. However, under such conditions, efficacy of the product against infections of Ostertagia ostertagi or Dictyocaulus viviparus in cattle may be maintained. The influence of extreme weather conditions on the long-term performance (persistent activity) of the product is not known.
Care should be taken to avoid the following practices because they increase the risk of development of resistance and could ultimately result in ineffective therapy:
* Too frequent and repeated use of anthelmintics from the same class, over an extended period of time.
* Underdosing, which may be due to underestimation of body weight, misadministration of the product, or lack of calibration of the dosing device (if any).
Suspected clinical cases of resistance to anthelmintics should be further investigated using appropriate tests (e.g. Faecal

"Herzlich Willkommen - wer immer Du bist"
In diesem Jahr wird die zentrale bundesweite Auftaktveranstaltung zur Interkulturellen Woche 2012 gemeinsam mit den Kirchen, der Landeshauptstadt Potsdam, dem Land Brandenburg, dem Aktionsbündnis gegen Gewalt, Rechtsextremismus und Fremdenfeindlichkeit des Landes Brandenburg und weiteren Trägern in Potsdam begangen.
8.00 - 13.30 Uhr Schülerkonferenz der Potsdamer Schulen ohne Rassismus - Schulen mit Courage. Um 13 Uhr findet ein öffentliches Abschlussplenum im Theatersaal statt, in dem die Arbeitsergebnisse präsentiert werden.
Schülerinnen und Schüler der 4. bis 12. Klassen verschiedener Potsdamer Schulen erarbeiten in Gruppen zu den Themenfeldern Politik, Religion, Sport, Geschichte, Alltagsrassismus, bildende Kunst und Musik ihre Visionen eines interkulturellen, weltoffenen Potsdams.

Gemeinsam die Welt entdecken - Eine Globale Spurensuche
Im Rahmen der Veranstaltung kann erfahren werden, wie Kinder in anderen Ländern leben, spielen und manchmal ihre Heimat verlassen müssen. Die Referentin erzählt von eigenen Lebenserfahrungen und von ihrer Auswanderung von Togo nach Deutschland. Mit Hilfe von Rollenspielen und zahlreichen afrikanischen Gegenständen, Stoffen und Kleidungsstücken wird das Erzählte in Form eines Theaterstücks inszeniert und präsentiert.
Die Veranstaltung ist kostenfreirichtet sich an Schulklassen und ist auch als Projekttag geeignet. Um eine Voranmeldung wird gebeten.
